Come and meet us at training.   At least someone is training most weekday afternoons at Albert Park Lake, starting at the car park of the Carousel function centre/restaurant.   Contact Bogush Frackowiak or Ivor Carter beforehand so we can look out for you.

To race the winter season, complete the Athletics Victoria membership form and send it to the secretary of South Melbourne Athletic Club.   Do not send the membership fee separately to Athletics Victoria.   When the race fees are determined, a single payment should be made to South Melbourne Athletic Club

Costs

• 2009 Winter race fees yet to be set, but 2008 fees were $200 for adults ($170 for current members of South Melbourne District Sports Club), which included Athletics Victoria registration and club membership.
  Children's winter fees and registration were $65 for SMDSC members and $95 for others.
• Summer race fees $30 for the series or $4 each.
• Albert Park races are free.
• You can try before you join for free (SMAC races) or $5-$20 (Interclub races).

Club singlet $40 and shorts $20.
